Economies of Scale
Miller/Block GalleryBoston, MA
June 18 - August 1, 2009
Economies of Scale is a summer exhibition at Miller Block Gallery. More than 30 artists were invited to create small-scale works that think big. Their creations span a wide range of content and media, addressing issues inherent in these recessionary times: economics, consumerism, reuse, and the meaning and sources of value. On a more visceral level, they offer the pleasure and solace many of us are seeking in a time of global uncertainty. The works in Economies of Scale prove that less can truly be more, delivering a big impact that belies their small size and moderate price.
