Seed Packet Art for Hudson Valley Seeds

This image was created for Hudson Valley Seeds' 'Art Pack' series. Each year, HVS commissions a group of artists to design the packaging for their seed packets. My seed inspiration was Torch Tithonia, or Mexican Sunflower. The piece incorporates some 'torches', as well as a Swallowtail Butterfly, one of the many pollinators that this beautiful bloom attracts.
