Small Work

Recently, I've been doing a bunch of small pieces, mostly of small mandala-like shapes, or single images, like a moth or a snail.  I started doing them to have some smaller pieces to sell, maybe for someone who doesn't want to invest in a larger piece, but would still like something.  They have become one of my favorite projects, and something I think I'll continue to do no matter what other things I'm working on.  To be able to create something, start to finish, in 2-4 hours is, for me, almost like instant gratification!  As opposed to my larger pieces that can take months to complete, I can get a real sense of accomplishment in just a few hours with one of these.  I plan to add more characters to this menagerie--more birds and insects, maybe even some other animals.  You can see some of the completed ones in the portfolio section of my site.  Hope you like them as much as I do!
