Bloom at Walker Contemporary

It's finally spring in New England, and what better way to celebrate than with art! I will have several pieces in 'BLOOM: celebrating the beauty and struggle inherent in the change of seasons' at Walker Contemporary in Waitsfield, VT.  The work in BLOOM represents the constant state of flux we experience as humans, as natural beings connected to natural life cycles.  BLOOM offers us the opportunity to turn inward and radiate outward, to recognize that the dark and the light, the internal and the external, the natural and the created, are all intimately connected and specifically exist because of each other. There is no separation of the seed from the flower, of the dark night from the bright dawn of morning, from our own internal musings to all the beauty and glory that nature has to offer.
